Who Are We?
Owners
George Thompson, Tim Thompson, Barbara Hood, Kennette
Sweeney, Vicky Crigger and Amanda Johnson
Background
The company was formed in 1973 by Clarence Johnson. In 1988, George
Thompson became a partner in the firm and the company was renamed to
reflect the Johnson and Thompson partnership. To provide an even larger
range of services and better meet the needs of the real estate market
place, the company became an ERA franchise in 1993. In May 1996, Tim
Thompson, an Affiliate Broker with the firm, was brought into the partnership.
By October 1999, Barbara Hood and Kennette Sweeney became partners,
further strengthening the leadership of the company. In 2004, after 30 years of Clarence managing the company, Vicky Crigger was hired as a non-competing Managing Broker. In 2005, Vicky was made one of the partners. Late in 2006, Amanda Johnson bought Clarence Johnson's share of the company and is now part owner. ERA Johnson and Thompson is a family-minded business and each owner, as well as our founder, Clarence Johnson, is as committed today to the business as ever.
